This is a sole proprietor shop and with today's economy you may run into times it may not be open. Patience is golden. It's a wonderland when you step into the shop. It is not merely just a nursery but a place filled with fairy tale items and dreams you can hold in your hand. Unique pieces you would not find anywhere else. The owner, Ruben, is extremely knowledgeable about all species of plants. I believe it is worth visiting.

Ruben is a true treasure to the horticulture community here in Orange County. Not only is he very knowledgeable about plant species and their care, but he also has excellent aesthetic and artistic taste that makes him one-of-a-kind. If you want to work with the best you need to stop by and start a relationship. Ruben will have everyone raving about your beautiful landscaping.

TW: animal death I wanted so badly to love this shop. I’ve stopped by three times now and no one was in. Today (Saturday at 11:45 am), the store was supposed to be open but there was a sign at the door saying they’d be right back. I waited around, called (no answer), then came back an hour later to still see the same sign. It was pretty discouraging given they seem to have a great selection of plants (on the outside, at least!) Now, the reason for my 1-star review. They have three bird cages outside the front door. The first two cages had 1–2 birds each. They had food and water and seemed okay. The third cage at first did not appear to have a bird in it. It turns out there was a dead bird at the bottom of the cage. This poor bird appeared to have passed awhile back as it was in a state of decomposition. It was distressing to have witnessed this, and it makes me question how this business is run/maintained.
